The structural scope required careful navigation of the existing heritage fabric (original timber joists, sandstone walls, and brick fireplaces), facilitating new internal layouts, relocated amenities, a rooftop staff verandah, and improved accessibility infrastructure, all while preserving the building’s integrity.
